So from what I've seen since starting my applications, its common to report work experience as either Full-time, Part-time, Internship, or Other. At time of admission I'll have around 4 years Full-time work experience, thats the easy part, prior to that my work experience is confusing since my school had a co-op program and I rotated between 3 months of school and 3 months of work.
Co-op with Company #1
April-June 2004
October-December 2004
April-June 2005
October-December 2005
Co-op with Company #2
April-June 2006
October-December 2006
April-June 2007
Kind of Co-op and kind of full-time with Company #2 (done with school and working in new position at new location but waiting on diploma for an offer)
April-September 2008
Can anyone give me any insight on how I should report all of this on my applications? I'm applying to top tier schools if that makes a difference. Also with the April-September 2008 period, I usually report it as full-time on my resume due to my title but I'm not sure how Company #2 would report it if asked.
