Sept 10 TEST - 550-570 score

by cdnbanker » Sun Aug 01, 2010 6:54 pm
i need some major help in strategy, my test day is Sept 10, 2010!

MGMAT CAT = 570 (39/30) Q/V
Knewton CAT = 550 (36/31) Q/V

anyways, i am aiming for much better than this, so i need a 150 point bump.
i have all the mgmat gmat books, all og guides, an old PR and Kaplan book ... thinking focusing on OG and just doing problems from Quant MGMAT ... the Verbal seems too time consuming at this point

the other option is to hit up the Knewton course starts 2nd end ends 9th

Do the Manhattan books before you do the official guides. Its better to do the most realistic questions a little bit closer to the time that you take the test. However, make sure that you have enough time to really go through your answers. I wouldn't go through all of the general review books since there will be a lot of overlap. Instead I'd just go for all the Manhattan books and then do lots of practice problems. You should work on verbal as well- especially SC because you can get a lot of bang for your buck.
