Ok ... So I just took my test today and scored a 650 ( Q44/V35).
Needless to say I am very disappointed...In the run up to my official test I scored the following:
Q/V
MGMAT 45/36 - 670 IR 4
MGMAT 45/36 - 670 IR 4
GMAT Prep 1 48/38 700 IR 5
GMAT Prep 2 49/35 690 IR 4
The weekend before my test.
GMAT Prep 3 44/33 640 IR 7
:
( This was 2 days prior to my test...kinda shook me up )
Its quite a known fact that MGMAT Quant is a lot harder ... so I was super happy with my GMAT Prep 1 & 2 scores.
Prep 3 was a real shock.... I was hoping it was an aberration.
So looks like i ll have to apply for R2.
Retake Plan
With my present quant scores, I think my concepts/knowledge bit is almost there but I need to get some consistency in place.
Here's what I plan to do over the next 45 days.
Quant:
Plan: Use Topic wise Grockit Daily & Solve GMAT Club Quant Tests( I am told these tests are great ).
Review my weaker areas.
I seem to have plateaued at a 35/36. I ve used e-gmat, but I cant seem to get to a 38 or 40.
I am fairly comfortable with CR, however I ve not been able to get consistency for SC & RC.
So... Is my plan sound??
I d be happy to consider other suggestions!! Presently my brain is kinda frozen and I cant think of any other way to move forward
Is it realistic to expect to go from a 650 to at least 690 in 45 days??
Thank You
Sb
