Well, I studied for about a week and did three practice test and scored 560, 570, and 550 on the practice tests. I got a 600 today on the actual test with a 35 in Quantitative 41 Percentile(horrible I know I probably should have looked over some math stuff) and 38 in Verbal 83 Percentile. Maybe if I was a little more serious about it, I would have gotten a 700 Lol.

Which university was admitting on 450 GMAT? Or they just needed a presence in GMAT?Tidus808 wrote:Well, I studied for about a week and did three practice test and scored 560, 570, and 550 on the practice tests. It is Tennessee Technological University. They require at least 450 GMAT and a 2.5 GPA. Which are really low standards. I know.
Glad to know that there is a university which is away from this GMAT score hipe.Tidus808 wrote:It is Tennessee Technological University. They require at least 450 GMAT and a 2.5 GPA. Which are really low standards. I know.
There should be certain kind of regulation or ban to control these things like GMAT etc which unncessary creates a billion-dollar-industry and has nothing or very little to do with Enterpreurial talent of Managerial Skills.
First, let me say "Congrats" on reaching your goal. Which practice test did you use, and did you have the GMAT question to be easier?Tidus808 wrote:Well, I studied for about a week and did three practice test and scored 560, 570, and 550 on the practice tests. I used the stuff that came in the mail from the GMAT peeps and that is all. I didn't need a real high score so I didn't try that hard. The GMAT quantitative seemed a lot harder(lack of preparation was my main problem), but the verbal was about the same.
