690 Q49, V35. Very low GPA

by ChicagoCC » Mon Oct 15, 2012 11:47 am
Hello,
I just took the GMAT and got a 690 (Q49, V35). Practice exams were generally 690-720- I usually did a little better on the verbal. Graduated Miami University with 2.6 (I know this is bad), major Finance. 6 years work experience in trading.

Should I retake and try and get my score up over 700? Any chance I could get into Kellogg or Booth part time? What about Wisconsin or Ohio State full time? If not, what kind of schools should I be targeting? Please be brutally honest- I will not be offended. Thank you very much.

I think you have a shot at all of the programs you mentioned. Increasing your verbal might help though.
