Hi,
I'm interested in applying to INSEAD. A gist of my profile -
Working for 4 years in a European Investment bank ( Associate ).
Moved to US to set up a team and have 2 off-shore associates working under me.
Have a process AUM of 500 million under me.
IIT with 7.8 CGPA ( top 10 in my Dept ).
GMAT 750.
Involved with some Corporate Volunteering work at the bank.
Had sufficient extra curricular activities in my college - Had setup a group to market in-house developed technologies to the industry and was successful in selling a couple of them and in conducting road shows, organising an edition of TED Talks and so on.
Essentially if you have to break down my work exactly, I'd put it in FinTech and not exactly pure finance.
I have a concern with regards to my application - What happens in a case that I get selected in INSEAD and due to some professional / personal reasons I may have to decline the admission. Do I get a chance to reapply again or my decline of the offer goes under the category of rejects and as INSEAD notes that re-applications are not encouraged, I may not essentially be able to apply again ? I ask this question as there are some possible changes with my team over the next 6-10 months ( essentially the period after 22nd April R2 Jan2016 Intake deadline and, if I get selected, the post shortlist interviews ). Also, I've heard that it's not that difficult to get MBA deferred for a year in US B-Schools.
Would be grateful if I could get your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
