Part time B-School

by jasmineeoc » Mon Nov 17, 2008 11:47 am
I'm looking to attend a part-time MBA/EMBA program in North Carolina (I live in Greensboro). I have looked closely at Wake Forest (Babcock) and Elon (Love). I am also looking at Fuqua and UNC (Kenan-Flagler), but I don't think I am competitive for those two.

My question is - how are Wake Forest and Elon perceived? I don't plan to spend my whole career in NC. Are these seen as "good" (although not top-tier) schools or just rinky-dink?

Thank you!

More about me:

32 year old white female
Undergrad Health Care Administration major with 3.93 GPA from a regional college (Regis University in Denver)
10 yrs WE in hospitals, with decent (not great) progression
GMAT not taken yet, but think 700s are out of the question - looking for high 500s to mid 600s
Career goal is to move into senior (director-level) hospital management

Thanks!
