Hello All,
I just started learning probability questions, but the problems seem too difficult for me. Can you please advise any source to first start learning in order to understand probability questions more easily?
Thank you
Probability

Hi Rukhsora,
How long have you been studying for the GMAT? And how have you performed in the Quant section overall (when you take your practice CATs)?
I ask those questions because Probability is a relatively rare category on the GMAT (while you'll likely see at least 1 probability question on Test Day, you probably won't see more than about 2-3) - as such, the larger categories are worth a lot more to your overall score, so you should be sure that you're strong in all of those other areas before you nitpick rarer categories too much.

Rich is right - probability and combinatorics are not tested as often as other topics are. Students tend to freak out about them disproportionately!
Make sure that your basic techniques - computation and algebra - are really solid before diving into advanced topics.
That said, if you've worked on the more common topics and you're ready for the advanced ones, here are some resources for you:
- Mprep Number Properties Guide contains chapters on probability & combinatorics: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/stor ... roperties/
- Mprep Advanced Quant contains strategies for the really hard questions, including probability & combinatorics: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/stor ... mat-quant/
- Mprep Advanced Quant workshops: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/prep/workshops/
- Interact lesson on Probability & Combinatorics - this is one of the dozens of lessons included in our Self-Study toolkit: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/stor ... y-toolkit/
