Help me!
I feel completely lost. I just completed 2-month in class Princeton Review GMAT course and took the
official GMAT this past weekend and my performance was more than under par.
I also feel extremely left out on these forums b/c most try to aim at a 700 score. I'm setting realistic goals and trying to least get in the 600 range. It seems there isn't much out there for folks who start at the bottom like me.
At the beginning of my prep, I started off with 430/450 score. The highest practice test score I had received was a 590. I took 7 Princeton practice tests and the scores varied in this range. Not ideal but slowly improving. For the real test, based on my prep I figured I should at least score in the 500s (I didn't want to set unrealistic expectations).
Yesterday however, I was smacked in the face with a ridiculously low score. So embarrassing I don't want to share. Let's just say, the score makes my 430/450 practice scores look amazing.
Help! This performance is unacceptable. I need a new study plan for retaking but not sure where to begin. I feel like I understand the concepts and the tricks but applying them must be the weakness. I also really don't want to pay another $1500 for course...
Also, any advice for a low score (now reported
) is helpful. I just want to get into a decent top 30 school.
