gmat admissions

by soham.bhaumik » Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:42 pm
hi Lisa,
i am just about to complete my graduation with a B.tech degree. GPA is mediocre(7.5), for several reasons that are best known to me. :P extra curricular pretty decent. class 10 and 12 scores are 94 and 90, though. i am from india. what i want to know is, without any work experience, is there any realistic chance of getting through to a top 20 institute or maybe INSEAD? please reply inclining towards the positive, even if any (and i mean any) GMAT score is to be sufficient .
Thank you. :)

Hi soham.bhaumik,

The majority of MBA admissions programs encourage applicants to have at least 2 years of work experience, although there are programs which look more at younger candidates. For your GMAT, I recommend you aim to score at least a 700.
