Retaking GMAT...Need advice...

by kriti87 » Fri Mar 30, 2012 7:32 am
Hi,

I have given my GMAT in Nov '11 and I scored a 710. I will be applying to business schools for Fall 2013. But since the new GMAT will be out in June, I'm confused if I should retake the GMAT. But in case I retake it and score less because of the IR section/ in general, then will this affect my chances of admission? Please let me know what to do....

Thanks,

kriti87

Your score is valid for up to 4 years. You have a competitive score within a reasonable time-frame. I don't feel there is any need for you to have to retake the exam unless you are aiming to score above a 710 by a significant amount. I don't know how other people feel, but that is just my opinion.
