Employee: Installing a nap room in our office would boost employee morale. Other companies in our industry have recently installed nap rooms and they report a tremendous boost in employee morale. If we want to improve our productivity, then one way to do so is to install a nap room.
Which of the following, if true, would most strengthen the author's argument?

The companies that have recently installed nap rooms have generated increased profits.

The companies that have installed nap rooms have also taken other effective measures to boost employee morale.

Nap rooms, once installed, are seldom used because workers feel awkward sleeping in the workplace.

Studies have shown that workers with positive attitudes can increase productivity by almost 20%.

Many analysts see installing a nap room as a sign that a company is progressive in its human resources policies.
ADDITIONAL PREMISE IS NEEDED HERE TO STREGNTHEN THE ARGUMENT

Hi parulmahajan89,

This CR prompt is an example of a Strengthen Question; the correct answer will support the ideas in the given paragraph (likely by providing a new piece of supporting information or by strengthening a connection between two of more of the ideas in the prompt).

Here are the facts:
-Installing a nap room would boost employee morale.
-Other companies have installed nap rooms and reported a boost in employee morale.

The Conclusion:
If this company wants to improve productivity, one way to do that is to install a nap room.

The assumption:
This author assumes that employees who have higher morale will lead to a company with higher productivity. We'll need to find an answer that confirms/supports this link.

You've correctly identified the correct answer D, but here's why it's correct:

You're expected to connect the ideas that a higher employee morale means that employees have positive attitudes. Sometimes GMAT CR/RC questions test your vocabulary a little, to see if you recognize synonyms. By realizing that positive attitudes = increased morale, then the connection to increased productivity is strengthened.
