Both answers D and E seem to give good reasons why face-to-face communication can be better for business pitches than telephone, e-mails, etc. However, answer D states that the company wins 65% of business it pitches in person. We have no idea whether 65% is a lot or a little. We have no point of reference to compare this percentage with. Maybe the company wins 90% of business it pitches over the phone. There is no data. However, if non-verbal communication is important (answer E), this is a fact that undoubtedly shows that face-to-face pitches are much more effective and thus this statement shows the weakness of the new model.
