Approximately a month left...

by [email protected] » Thu Feb 16, 2012 9:49 pm
Hi... My exam date is on 26th March, 2012...

My accuracy is quiet good but my timing is very bad. I finish a sum in atleast more than 4 mins.

At the same time when i do lets say 15 to 20 sums in a row, the average time is even higher ...

And when I do that the accuracy level also goes down may be because of the anxiety level....

Could any of the experts please help me in getting over this especially the test anxiety......

For this i have already downloaded the GMAT timer from the GMAT CLUB...

But still it is not working...

Hi Amit,

Time and anxiety are closely related, so managing your time effectively will definitely reduce your anxiety.

The most important tip I can give you is to get back on track as soon as possible. The longer you allow the "dark cloud of lost time" to hang over your head, the greater the anxiety.

I just wrote an article for BTG about time management. It explains how to use a milestone chart to manage your time on the GMAT: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2012/02/ ... n-test-day

Cheers,
Brent
