Online Program

by rlf002 » Sat May 01, 2010 4:41 pm
Ok this isn't a GMAT quesstion but i thought this was a good plce to ask my question. I'm about to graduate with my undergraduate in finance and bankin and I have been accepted into an MBA prgram for banking and financial institutions its a 2 year cohort and you go to class all day for two weeks each August then the rest is online, I didnt have to take the GMAT to get in because of my GPA.

I guess my qusetion is how do you know if you're ready for grad school? I don't know if I'm just afraid because I don't know what to expect or if I'm just not at the level I need to be but I'm kinda second guessing if I should do the program or not.

I know grad school is harder than your undergradate studies, when I do those classes I don't put in the amont of effort I should/could because I don't really need to, do you think that'll change with grad classes?

Any advice on how to calm myself down? I remember reading my acceptance letter and I was super excited but just as nervous.

Getting back into some of the undergrad habits takes some time, but the hardest part about grad school is balancing the commitments -- studying, job search, etc. From a topics prep perspective, there are companies like ours that provide help as a primer. But don't sweat it too much, its mostly just being smart about your time and managing through the inevitable peaks and valleys.
