Hi all,
I just began studying last week, and decided to start out with the Veritas Prep practice test. I did okay overall, but I found the math section to be a bit unusual based on the types of questions I had seen in the OG.
The thing that struck me as most peculiar were successive math questions that all referenced the same chart or graph. Does this every happen on the real GMAT? There was also one particular question that referenced a number "PQ" without indicating whether P and Q are the digits of the number, or whether PQ is the product of two numbers P and Q. Anyway, it would be interesting to hear the prevailing opinion on this test, as far as how reliable of a predictor it is.
