New comer

Hi guys!

I've recently (as of this weekend) decided to get an executive MBA. Being out of school and in the workforce for 10+ years, is going to make the GMAT challenging. I've signed up for the 60 day study group provided by BTG. Could you please give me your recommendations for someone just deciding to take the test with education long gone in the rear view mirror ?

Thanks

Lori

Hi Lori,

There are certainly generic suggestions that you might find useful, but it usually helps if you can provide some additional information:

1) What schools are you planning to apply to and when are you planning to apply?
2) Have you taken any practice Tests/CATs? If so, then what did you score?

If you're interested in taking a practice CAT, then you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com. You should set aside approximately 4 hours for the test and be prepared to feel challenged.
