I found the "verified course reviews" extremely helpful in selecting the course that I will use! They give reviews by the type of course - such as online, in person, weekend, intensive, private tutoring, etc. You know that the reviews are from actual students, since the GMAT prep company verifies that they are actual students who have taken the course. This was very reassuring.
Today there was a post questioning the authenticity of a positive review of Manhattan GMAT that was made on this site 3 years ago. No need to wonder about such things in 2010, just go to the verified course reviews in the "gmat courses". I have to say that Beat the GMAT got this one right!
