Will idioms be tested on the GMAT?

If GMAC has done away with idioms,why are they still a part of OG 13.Also,in verbal review,we have idioms as on of the topics.Does this mean that idioms questions will be asked.

They are trying to eliminate regionally biased questions. For the most part this includes idioms. Does that mean that certain things will not be tested? No, but I would put this topic lower on your list of priorities.
