I dont have any international work ex but i am working in a US company so does that give me any credit. I have held a number of leadership positions during my college days, does it cover up for my lack of adequate work ex.

I am interested in applying to Georgia Tech, Cornell, Carlson school of management, Washington University, Boston University..

These were the schools which did not mention strict 2 yr work ex requirement.

Please advice

Dear Mohit,

If you feel you are ready to enter business school after only 1 year of experience, then you should apply. Just be sure to explicitly address why you want to enter after only 1 year versus gaining additional experience. Your school list seems appropriate. However, your profile is similar to a large percentage of the MBA applicant pool. As such, you will need to find a way to distinguish yourself from others and make a compelling case for admission.

Good luck,
Lisa
