Hi,
I'm in need of some assistance, with regards to which type of MBA i should take or in fact whether i am suitable for either. My profile is below:
Nationality: British
Demos: White Male, 34 years old
Undergrad: 2:1 BSc (Hons) Industrial Design from a good British University
Work Experience: 12 years: 5 years running a company (with 3 partners), 3 years as a contractor in Web site development, 4 years as Senior Web developer in a PR company (Managing a team of up to 12 people)
GMAT: have not taken
I'm looking to get out of development and into a more managerial role, however i am unsure about the best way of doing this. I have been looking into MBA's but because of the amount of work experience i have and my age, it seems i would be more suitable for an EMBA. My concern is that i do not have enough of the "right" type of work experience for this course and would be starting on the back foot, as a lot of the concepts may be completely new to me.
I will need to do a part time or online course, as i will still be working, and as i am funding this myself, i will probably be ruling out the top tier of schools.
Please can you advise me on which type of MBA you think i may be suitable, if in deed any.
Thank
