Preparing for the GMAT - Are GMAT Prep Courses Good?

Hi Folks,

I am seeking to take my GMAT in March 2010. Planning to prepare for the GMAT now. I was wondering if I should enrol in GMAT Prep Courses(costs about $1.5k here in Singapore) to help better prepare and hopefully get a good score.

What do you think? Has anyone done this and recommend me to do so?

Or studying by yourself with books or creating study groups works just as good?
