2 Questions

1) Is there a big difference between taking a mgmat course than just buying all their books and studying through them. Does it help to take the course with instuctors ???

2) I am a freshman in college should i start studying for the gmat, do you think it is to early for someone to start studying for this test or should i wait till my senior year ?????

Hi Philip123,

We have experts from both MGMAT (Stacey Koprince) and Kaplan (Stuart Kovinsky), I would suggest that you discuss your doubts with them, depending on your preference over Kaplan or MGMAT. You can either drop them a PM or post a question in the GMAT strategy thread describing your situation, I am sure you will get the best possible answer.

Regarding your second question, I would say ideally, for someone who is still in college and in touch with maths, 3-5 months of prep should be more than enough for a score of more than 700. If you feel like you are not good at the quant part I would suggest to add a couple of months more to it, that is about 5-6 months.

Regards

I just wanted to let you know that the GMAT score lasts 5 years. That should help in determining WHEN you take the test.

It is better to take the test in the fourth year.
