Hi everyone,
I just got out from the exam. I can summarize my experience as quite negative. Although I spent a month and a half preparing, I fear that my actual exam performance would be worse than expected.
Let me briefly elaborate on my experiences:
Reading:
The section started quicky after my arrival at the examination center. Because of the nevousness, I was not able to quickly scan the passages and answer the first questions. In fact, it took me a while to get through them, which was not the case when I was doing the mock exams at home. Thus, I would expect a score of 22-25 max, in that respect.
Listening:
This was fairly easy, nevertheless I think I got a bit more lectures than usual, but maybe some of them were just testing their examination system.
My aspirations are for a score around 28-30, however this would be quite suprising knowing that I wasnt sure about answering few questions. Realisticly speaking, performance should yield a score of not more than 25-27.
Speaking:
I had nightmares about this piece of the exam. Although I use english on a daily basis, the questions comprehension, and especially, being able to combine your thoughts quickly is quite challenging. Nevertheless, I think my actual experience on this part is positive. I could answer the questions quickly and on the point.
Expected score: 25-28.
Writing:
One of the easiest sections, I wrote all points on the first task by contradicting each point with the lecture, therefore I expect a very high (5/5) performance here (lets see though). Writing the essay was also easy, I could point all my arguments quickly and with fairly complex vocabulary. Hopefully, this is going to represent my strongest section in terms of score achievement.
Bottom line:
Quite dissatisfied with what I did, especially on the reading and partially on the listening section. Undoubtedly, I could have done better. Inevitably, if I dont get at least 100 points, I will just strive for retaking the test.
Cross your fingers,
Cheers
My TOEFL experience (13.03)

Well, to be honest, I did not expect such a high result based on my experiences during the test.
Here is the split of the different categories:
Reading - 28
Listening - 28
Speaking - 27
Writing - 26
I am sure that I could be better on the writing, nevertheless this is a perfect result in regards to university requirements, as you said.
Good luck with your results!
