Hi mission14,

By having to guess on so many questions in the Quant and Verbal sections, it's clear that you have a significant pacing problem.

How long have you been studying? What materials have you been using?

I have around 45 days before GMAT and finding it hard to take out 2-3 hrs everyday for study.
Planning to start your recommendations of concentrating on easy/medium level questions first.

GmatPrep 1 -530 (Q33,V24)- Guessed around 10 question in Quants and 8 question in Verbal.
Thanks mission14 - good luck with the prep, 45 days is a decent amount of time to isolate your weak areas and focus on improving your scores.

Hi, I have started my preparation from Jan but was not able to be regular. I have never followed organized study plan on quants. So I guess with some practice I can improve on Quants.
I have given significant time on verbal but improved very little. :( Mainly following OG, Manhattan verbal, few math books for concept.

Thanks

Hi mission14,

Depending on your goals, you might consider investing in a GMAT Course of some kind. One of the interesting aspects about studying for the GMAT is that there isn't one perfect approach that works for everyone. Study plans vary, but if you find that "your way" of doing things doesn't produce the results that you're looking for, then you have to be willing to change your approach. You might also need to push back your Test Date, but that's not something that you would need to decide today.
