OG 11 Question

Bit confused on this easy problem...couldn't find the same post anywhere..

A B C D E = -2 -1 0 1 2 (each responds to its number on the number line respectively)

Which has the highest absolute value (lists each point)........huh?

If A and E both appear to be correct answers to that question, you have the first printing of OG-11. There was an error in the diagram. There are a few other errors in that printing, and if you google 'OG11 pdf corrections' or something similar, you should be able to find the official list of corrections. Most people using OG11 will have a corrected printing and won't need that pdf.

A and E are equally correct.

One way to look at absolute value is to say that the absolute value of a number is that number's distance from zero on the number line

Since -2 and 2 are both 2 units aways from zero on the number line, they have the same absolute value (which is 2)
