Hi,

Here, is the[spoiler] OA = B[/spoiler] coz we get the equation as .25 French = .1 Japanese. Basically from the question stem & option B, we can get the details...

Can someone explain here....

Given information:

J>100
4%F also learns J.

1.4%F = 16 => F = 400. However, the no. of J cannot be defined, as J >100 then J can be either 200 (which <400) or 500 (which >400). So we cannot define whether F>J.
=> Insuf.

2. 10% J also learns F. Then no. of students learn both J and F:
10%J = 4%F
then F/J = 10/4 = 5/2 Then F>J.
Thus 2 is suff.
