simplyfying the expression you get;
9^x(1+9+9^2+...+9^5)=y
working inside the bracket to get the units digit;
1+9+1+9+1+9 =30.
since it is given that x is a positive number, and we know from both statement 1 and 2 that
it is an integer, we know for both cases y will be divisible by 5.
