A group of 7 associates are having feast together. Each individual eats at least 3/4 of a pizza. What is the smallest number of whole pizzas needed for the feast?
(A) 5
(B) 6
(C) 7
(D) 21
(E) 28

"Each individual eats at least 3/4 of a pizza".

This means that the individual can it 3/4 (75%) of the pizza, or 76% or 77%... If we solve with this in mind, then the solution would be as follows:

7 ppl each eating at least 3/4 of a pizza. The minimum amount of food needed is 7*3/4 = 21/4 = 5.25 pizzas. The least number of whole pizzas necessary is 6 pizzas. With 6 pizzas shared equally, each individual would have 6/7 pizzas so the 3/4 minimum per person would be met.
