Hi Everyone!

Can anyone tell me about Waseda Business School, How good is it? i dunno a lot of japanese. would be at level 4 by the time i join there. hopefully by end of mba will be at level3or 2. will i get jobs ?

Also what level of GMAT score would be required by them?

Considerably appeared in the ASIAN rankings. I remember, they rate the college very highly in Japan. Their current PM and some learned dignitaries passed from there.

yes i m willing to live there and learn the language as well. How are the placements there?
Heard that the scenario was a lot bad for international students and they had to return back home.

If your aim is to work in japan it will be a good idea to enroll Japanese Uni since Japanese literacy is absolutely a plus skill on your resume and to become familiar with Japanese culture.

And yes, there are many disadvantages for foreigners working in Japan but also depends on your talent.
If your plan is to enroll Jap Uni to start off, I encourage to definitely improve your Japanese skill and retain comparable grade and internship!

Personal opinion: There are many high ranked Japanese University but good only domestically. When you see them as global ranking it is not as you expect. I have worked in Japanese society for many years and I feel Japanese people lack in management and not a risk taker.. There are Japanese blue chip companies such as Panasonic, Toyota, Honda, JAL, Uniqlo etc, yet you dont see on ranking of Forbes the world's billionaire or the world's most powerful people...
So if I were you I would attend good MBA american school in US with internship in Japan while study my Japanese then attend CFN Boston or LA career fair (Japan's biggest overseas career fair) to be hired in Japan.

MBA is Japan, focused only in JAPAN is not exactly a good decision for international students based on my judgement.

Japanese companies always give importance to experience more than Master degree.

I would always rank European (Germany/Eastern Europe)or some top US MBA's better than Japanese MBA
