Is this statement correct ?
I seem to find the usage of Due to erroneous. Can anyone please explain the concept with this example ?

Purchasing a new computer, the average consumer often experiences confusion due to not having the relevant technical knowledge needed to compare products

"Due to" can best be translated as "caused by". Therefore, in this sentence it isn't a problem to use "due to". The confusion is CAUSED BY not having the relevant knowledge.
