can you elaborate a little bit more why A is wrong
i absolutely agree that (Milking, Providing will not modify the cows) . but this modifier does not relates to the cows at all. according to the MS correction -comma + ing- modify the whole clause , i read the sentence this way:
farmer who takes care....,providing.....and milking
for me it is easier to elinimate A on the basis of present progressive usage- are producing since it is not action that takes just now, rather general definition

comma + ing- modify the whole clause. the cluase is after these two modifiers. Clause is "Cows will produce X".
After fixing these two modifiers then relate the farmer phrase as a whole modifier to the cows
.I know its a very awkward constuction. In general here,
For the farmers who....(A), cows' modifiers (B), cows will produce X.
First part B modifies the cows then A modifies the modified cows.

I think the " For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool, providing them with high energy feed and milking them regularly," part of the sentence just denotes a Event (with various actions involved in it) which will eventually lead to Some action. On this account E option is the best as it has "will "
