The ancient Egyptians seemed to center their lives about death. It was important for a body to remain as nearly intact as possible in order that it might enter to the afterlife.

What's wrong with the underlined part?

In order that is somewhat awkard. "so that" seems better

"in order that" is not idiomatically correct.
the right idiom should be "in order to". What're the other choices anyway?
