Because Albert is the most experienced and he is there the best ballet dancer in the company, he is being increasingly viewed by the director as the best candidate for the role of the Nutcracker.

A)and he is there the best ballet dancer in the company, he is being increasingly viewed
B)he is therefore the best of ballet dancers, and it has increased the view
C)and therefore the best ballet dancer, he is being increasingly viewed
D)and therefore he is the best of ballet dancers, and there is an increasing view
E)therefore being the best of ballet dancers, it is increasingly viewed

I generally ignore the options which include words not correct in the GMAT word such as being so based on the rule I eliminatedA, C and E and chose option D but the correct answer is E. Can someone please shed some light on this?

Many thanks for your kind help.

The answer in the book is printed as E but there is no explanation on why the answer is E. Because E has the word 'being' in it I am not convinced that E is correct in GMAT land.

I think the correct answer is D. What do you say?

Have you posted the options correctly, especially option E? I think in option E there should be a 'he' instead of 'it' in the part 'it is increasingly viewed'.

Yeah, what I have posted is exactly how the question is printed in the book.

Also E uses 'being' which I thought is always incorrect in Gmat Land.

I just wanted to find out if other people agree with me that E is incorrect for few reasons. according to you what should be the right answer?

Well 'being' is not always incorrect on the GMAT. Its mostly incorrect.

Being can be right in the following situation:

with + NOUN + being + Noun complement
There are many reasons to get an MBA, with increased career prospects being the most important one.

Plus in some questions when you apply POE you are left with answer choices that have being in them. Like this question.
For instance, in this question you don't need an 'and' after 'best of ballet dancers'. So you can eliminate B & D.

Now in E the 'it' doesn't make sense.
But I can't eliminate between A & C.

IMO its C.
A) there doesnt have a referent also the sentence construction he is the.....company is awkward
B) he is not joined by any conjunction , also it doesnt have any referent . also it has increased th e view ...... is wrong
D) there doesnt have referrent , also increasing is modifying view which is a verb ...... is has to be increasingly
E) it doesnt have referent.

'there' in option A is 'there' or therefore'. I thought it was a typo.

I would have thought it to be 'therefore' but it is typed as 'there' in the book. May be just a mis-print in the book.
