Awesome problem Man,
It remind me my college when i was preparing for CAT though
very unsuccessfully they always had a very good diagram same the diagram this problem has shown, and then asked some thing similar like this one .
I would say that i try to solve it but didn't find the proper solution i am sure somebody will definitely solve it, as there are so many smart people around. but i think answer Should be A
I have some reasoning behind it,
we have the area of the quarter Circle and we have to find the area of shaded reason.
now in only two options they are subtracting the area of quarter circle from the whole area that is option A and D.
After subtracting the area of the quarter circle from the total area, The area that we will left with that is more than required area now , we know that quarter circle area is 25pie/4
things are really very fishy now if you confirm that correct Answer is A then i can go ahead and explain my reasoning otherwise there is no sense.
