This post is a bit late (took the GMAT in early February), but I thought I'd share anyway, as people have been asking me about GMAT prep recently.

I went into my roughly 2 months of studying knowing that my Verbal abilities were fine; I just needed a ton of math review. I didn't want a program that was going to force me to review Verbal concepts I already felt comfortable with.

I HIGHLY recommend Knewton to those of you who are disciplined in your study habits but do not have time to attend a class in-person, and want to "pick and choose" what areas to focus on. Personally, the program had several advantages that appealed to me, but in particular, the fact that it is self-study at my own pace, on-line, is the kicker. I found it helpful to be able to gloss over topics I already felt comfortable with and repeat topics I didn't know well. About 2 weeks before the test, I realized I didn't need to study the Verbal concepts anymore, and focused purely on Quant. This ended up being HUGE for me. The lectures are all available from the get go, as well as a huge list of concepts that you can dive into at any time.

If you are the type of person that needs to have a rigorous study program built for you, Knewton probably isn't the best. BUT for someone who wants to pick and choose concepts, I couldn't recommend it more.
