60% people are those having experience of two or more than two years. of these people 30% are those that have experience of two years, therefore people having experience of more than two years is 60-30=30

let total no of associates at the firm be 100
2nd yr associates = 30
Not first yr associates = 60

hence of this 60, 30 are 2nd yr associates (with 2 yr experience hence remaining 30 are those with more than 2 yrs exp
hence C

Another way:

60 percent are not first-year associates : i.e 40% are first year associates.
Since no associate can be both a 2nd year & 1st year associate. So > 2 yrs =30 %.

Please confirm whether my approach is correct or not.

(C) because 60% - 30% = 30%
