Hi Experts and BTG enthusiasts,
I would like to understand is it good enough to get an MBA from a second-tier B school or a non-ranked B school? For example, I read from the Businessweek website that Babson College is a Second-Tier while UCSD-Rady is not ranked.
What I would like to understand is why are these schools not ranked? If I were to apply for the MBA program in these schools, how would it differ from the top B schools in the US? Other than the brand name, the marketability, etc.
Some background why I am asking this:-
I took the GMAT and got a low score of 580. So I was thinking should I study, retake the GMAT and then apply to a higher ranked school or should I concentrate on the second tier or non-ranked schools?
Your advise is much appreciated.
