Your 710 GMAT is great and your 3.1 GPA with a rising trend is fine. It's not clear from your post whether you cpopleted law school. While a law degree can make you more attractive to a business school it will have to be positioned carefully. You will need to show why you need a second professional degree. If you are moving into a field of law that requires substantial business training, you should be in great shape. If they sense that you are simply tired of law and wanting to try something else, that could hurt.

Killer essays and great recommendations are always needed for the schools you list, but your stats put you well within reach. A consultant can help you tell your story convincingly. As always, it is wise to think about safety schools if you are determined to go next year. Don't worry about the earlier GMAT. Almost all schools deal only with the highest score.

Good luck,

P.S. sorry about your football team - Go Bucks! :-) (Columbus native here!)
