Dear experts,

I am slightly confused regarding my work experience for MBA program. I have worked for two years as HR business partner in a big 4 firm and now am working as an educator in a low income community in my home country.I plan to work in the social sector consulting field and eventually work with MBB in their social sector practice, especially on issues to do with people management. As I am looking at gaining new skills and transitioning to consulting, I want to apply for MBA programs.
But, on the basis of my research, I have not seen anyone from HR background applying to B schools. I am concerned if my work experience is not considered 'good enough' for a B school and hence no one gets into a top MBA program? Suggestions are welcomed.
