Hi guys,

I just took my first legitimate GMAT exam yesterday, scoring a 610 overall (44 Quant, 30 Verbal). I actually was doing the 60 day plan, but only focusing on the math part, because I wanted to get an application done in time for the deadline of November 1st.

My Quant score did improve from my 2 practice scores of 38. My verbal unfortunately dropped, I had 40 and 35 in the to practice CAT's, and on the real test, I scored 30. Had I attained either one of those scores, I wonder what my overall score would have been.

I plan on taking the GMAT again in December, when I finish the 60 day study plan. I imagine that the quant score could go up higher still after taking all those practice exams that make up the final 18 days of the plan. Wanted to hear some feedback, thanks.

FWIW, if you had a 39 or 40 verbal, with the 44 quant, your total likely would've been around 680.
