GMAT Prep Practice Test #1

by Emi-Beth » Tue Oct 08, 2013 3:58 am
Hi

I just took my first practice test as per day 3 of the 60 day GMAT study Guide and scored a 550. I'm feeling the pressure and realise just how much work I need to do with review of concepts, timing and guessing to get to my target score of 730!!

I would like to know, since its not clear, if I should review the exam - questions and answers - after my results or if I should just record my results read the articles and call it a day?? Please clarify. Usually, I would painstakingly go over both correct and wrong answers meaning the questions and answers would be familiar if I were to take the test again soon.

Since you haven't yet studied the concepts that the GMAT tests, I don't think there's a lot of value in analyzing the practice test (other than, perhaps, out of curiosity).

The purpose of this test is to get a baseline score, and to give you an idea of the work it will take to reach your target score.

Cheers,
Brent
