Help with a BASIC math question

I read this statement somewhere on the internet

" The multiples of a number are obtained by multiplying the number by each of the natural numbers ".

I have a question.

According to the above statement, since -3 = 3 (-1) ……..and
Zero = 3(0)

Shall I understand that (– 3) and (Zero) are multiples of 3?

I know this is a basic math question but my math SUCKS and I need help.

Natural Numbers start from +1 and extend to +infinity.

Whole numbers start from 0 to +infinity.

Integers range from -infinity to +infinity

Since the statement says multiply the number by natural numbers, the multiples of a number(Ex 3) will be equal to

3*1, 3*2, ...., 3*infinity.

Hope this is clear.
