Hi there
Having FINALLY taken my GMAT, I was hoping to get some views on my profile!
GMAT:
- 750 (50Q, 41V, 6.0)
Work experience:
- 3 years at a top5 strategy consulting firm (not Bain, BCG or McK but definitely just behind them) in London. Promoted from Analyst to Consultant
- 2 internships whilst at university: one at a global leader in internet media / search (corporate development) and another at boutique strategy consulting company.
Undergrad education:
- 1st (highest grade achievable in UK) class honours achieved in Business Management at a top London university
Unfortunately, I don't have any community / non-work experience - this is an area I am planning on focusing as I have time until September 2009, which is the time I'm thinking of applying. I have specific target schools (and if I don't get into these, probably won't go to Bschool - personal preference!) and they are Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Chicago, Columbia, and potentially Kellogg, Tuck and NYU.
Would very much appreciate your thoughts on my profile!
Many thanks

Dear justbeatit,
Congratulations on your score! I think you have a competitive profile for your target schools. You are right in that it would be good to have some activities outside of work that you can discuss in your application. Overall, I think you are on the right track and need to be sure to put the effort into creating a strong overall application package.
Best of luck,
Lisa
