Looking for CATs

I have 56 days to go until my second attempt at the GMAT.

I'm working with the OG, KAPLAN 800 and a MATH review book. I'd like to take at least 1 CAT/ week leading up to the real exam. I have 2 from the GMAC, but where can I acquire more?

If any of you have links to sites or CDs to distribute, please let me know. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Practice tests

You can find more practice tests at princetonreview.com. I think that it is still true that if you register with their site, you will have access to 4 tests. I would check that out to see. I registered with PR last summer, but I can still take those tests because there is a one year access to those features. manhattangmat.com has an online computer adaptive test bank that you can use. It has enough questions in a data base to take 6 tests without repetition. There is a $39 fee for that. I don't really know that much about other websites that have GMAT CAT's. At least, the two websites that I suggested will give you some choices.

It doesn't sound like you've downloaded the most important practice tests yet, GMATPrep.

GMATPrep is a free software package offered at MBA.com, featuring two practice GMAT tests. These tests are the most accurate indicator of your actual GMAT performance because they use real (but retired) GMAT questions.

I will check out the PR and ManhattanGMAT CATs. I have the CD from MBA.com. And I assume it contains the same 2 CATs as the ones that can be downloaded from the site.

And the GMATPrep software can be un-installed/re-installed to get more practice. A few questions might repeat, but still it will be great to practice as it is as good as real test.

Rajesh,

I had this dilemma before. Here's where you can find free tests:

- GMAT Prep (which you seem to have already)
- Register with Kaplan and you can get a free practice test
- Register with Princeton Review and you can get a free practice test
- Also if you're willing to spend like 30 bucks, then purchase a Kaplan book with a CD - gives you access to like 4-6 exams

You can also do one free test with us.

FYI - I wouldn't recommend a test every week. That's like training for a marathon and running a practice marathon every week. You'll totally tire yourself out and it's not the best training when it's that frequent. Plan one every 2-3 weeks - after all, to get the most out of each test, you'll have to pick it apart after and figure out what you can improve based upon your performance (and then actually go study that stuff).
