Hi,
From(1): if n^2 = 4, n is integer
if n^2 = 5, n is not an integer
Insufficient

From(2): sqrt(n) is integer. So n is square of an integer which is always integer
Sufficient

n=4,root(2) insufficient
b)root(n) is integer
n is integer
Sufficient
