The question you are trying to answer here is why do men in a country with good health care die more frequently of prostate cancer relative to men in another country without good health care?

What if it is the good healthcare that is, direclty or indirectly, causing the men with better healthcare to have prostate cancer. More directly, what if prostate cancer only afflicts the old? People in countries with good health care live longer, thus, you would expect to see more people with prostate cancer in a country with good healthcare than you would in a country with bad healthcare.

That is why the answer is B.

Option B is correct.

What if prostate affects only the old people?In Terland people do not live long enough to get cancer. People in Ruberia have a higher life expectancy because of better health care facilities. So old people in Ruberia are more likely to get cancer.

I agree that answer should be B. But are you sure that you have typed or copied question properly?

B compares men with prostate cancer to all men in Terland. However, which men who has prostate cancer? T or R?

This is a resolve the paradox question, so the correct answer should explain how both scenarios came about. This answer addresses only Rubaria, and does not actually solve the paradox that exist in Terland, thus this cannot be the right answer.

You should practice to eliminate this pretty quickly on test day.

Why is it the OA?
It took me 2 minute to come to solution B. I too was strugglibg between B and E. Then I recalled the power score rule. This is explain the contradicting statement or resolve the paradox question.

powerscore rule says: Rule out all the answe choice which does not mention other side of the story. The correct answer choice should explain both the contradictions.

Answer choice E is wrong because it is talking and comparing ONLY the men in RUBARIA who take vs who do not ake advantage of health system. It does not talk or tell anything about teraland city.

Another answer choice that could have been added is people in Teraland have better genes than Rubaria and are less prone to prostrate cancer.


Answer choice B is correct: Tells us story of both side of the cities: Rubaria people who get this cancer are older than Tearland and hence death rate is higher.
