Minivans carry as many as seven passengers, and compared with most sport utility vehicles, most cost less, and make it easy for passenger to get in or out, and have smoother, more car-like ride.

a. and make it easy for passenger to get in or out
b. and allow passenger to get in and out easily
c. and allow passenger to get in and out more easily
d. make it easier for passenger when getting in and out
e. allow passengers to get in and out more easily
OA: E
,I was able to choose the right answer. I just wanted to confirm that whether my reasoning for eliminating D is correct?
In D underlined part is not able to maintain parallelism - "getting in and out"
I'm no expert, just trying to work on my skills. If I've made any mistakes please bear with me.

In D, the placeholder "it" does not have any refernce. If should ideally refer to Minivans and if so this should be in prural way.

Hope this clears the air
