a) the creation of new divisions that are, increasingly, less related

b) the creation of new divisions that are increasingly less related

c) create new divisions that are increasingly unrelated

d) be increasingly less related while creating new divisions

e) increasingly create new divisions with less relation

OA:C

I want the full explanation of probable answers.I am not convinced with the OA also.

Going by the OA, does 'less related' and 'unrelated' mean the same?

increasingly should modify unrelated
thus E is incorrect.
to create is better than to the creation of...
creating new divisions to their business (in D doesn't make sense(

What about the question that Gmatkiss mentioned
Unrelated is not same as less related ?
From that perpective C is wrong.

a) the creation of new divisions that are, increasingly, less related Less related? Don't we need a comparative word here?

b) the creation of new divisions that are increasingly less related : Less related? Don't we need a comparative word here?

c) create new divisions that are increasingly unrelated : yes. I went with this.

d) be increasingly less related while creating new divisions: Changes the meaning

e) increasingly create new divisions with less relation: Changes the meaning.

less should be followed by than in order to have proper comparison therefore, ignore option A and B
