Difference in Kaplan publications

by oddys4 » Sat Apr 17, 2010 10:23 am
Hi,
I have Kaplan Premiere 2008 - I'd like to know how different it is from the latest publication (2010-2011). I'm debating whether to buy the new one.
Also, how is Kaplan 800 different? Is it recommended?

Thanks,
Mike

There is no need to buy the new ones. Go viist your local book store, you will probably find that almost all of the questions are the same or similar.

Thanks osirus, what about GMAT 800? Is that an effective prep book? How is it compared with Kaplan Premiere?

Kaplan 800 is decent if you need additional questions. They assume that you already have the basics down and focus on 600-700 and some 700-800 level questions. I would go through the OG and verbal and math supplements first and only buy Kaplan 800 if you run out of material.
